Head of Finance

Accra, Ghana

I’m currently recruiting for a Head of finance position, a No1 finance role based in Accra, Ghana. My client an international organisation has several bases and operations throughout Africa.  Reporting to the local Managing Director and working closely with the Group CFO based internationally your role will be to manage all things finance related. This includes managing a team of around 10 finance and admin staff paying Close attention to cash flow, debtors and foreign currency.

A professional accounting qualification is essential as is the ability to work with the business in vetting business deals and putting together sound business proposals with clients. Communication will be key as you will be communicating up and down the chain in an international business. You will also set up controls and put in place procedures in addition to working with the external auditors.
