General Manager

My client is an international FMCG food manufacturing organisation. They are currently in the process of building a Greenfield pasta manufacturing production site and now need a General Manager to help them with the build and development of this company.

The GM will be responsible for all aspects of the business including formulating overall strategy, establishing policies, planning, organising, directing and running the day-to-day operations of the business. Functions will include administration, HR, procurement, sales and also finance.

Due to the scope of the role a big part of the position will be management and delegation, you will be pivotal in the decision making process and will need to coach and develop the team.

I’m looking for someone with solid managerial experience in manufacturing preferably in FMCG production, food or cereals. This is a big job and I look forward to hearing from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
