CFO – Chief Financial Officer

My client is a Venture capital backed food producing company who employ over 300 people. They are market leaders in their field exporting to Europe and promoting organic, sustainable and ethical growing values. They are now in a position to hire a CFO.

As a qualified accountant your role will be to ensure accurate accounts are produced, taxes calculated and paid accordingly. You will also work closely with the venture capital company ensuring cash flow and funding is controlled. Day to day you will also supervise the accounting team and help to develop their skills.

I’m looking for someone who understands Africa, someone respectful who can communicate and appreciate the values of a company and who can add value not just from their accounting skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in agriculture or food FMCG production and will be highly analytical.
